I have been running a campaign on google adwords called ‘test1′. For those who don’t know, their are certain tasks that need to be done before you can actually make some money with Affiliate Marketing.

The campaign I am working on I have spent about $7,000 and made $8,000 Profit from it, meaning $15,000 Gross. I have collected a lot of data now for about two weeks. I use the program T202 (Tracking202.com) to track my keywords.

This is very important as you want to know what keywords are making you money so you can focus on those keywords.

So, I will be re-doing my campaign. I will first put it on Google, MSN & Yahoo. Test it for about a week and Check what I would have to do next.

A list below are the things that I need to do to create this campaign.
(Note2Self: Update CPC in T202 so it matches your actual CPC in PPC Networks)

1. Focus on all Profiting Keywords from the past month.
   • Start bidding high around .80-.90 cents with targeted ads and landing pages, only for profitable kw’s.
   • Get on the top 1-6 ad positions
2. KeyWord Research
   • Organize All Campaign Keywords in Excel File
   • Negative Keywords (Not Converting, Not Making Money)
   • Negative Campaign Keywords
   • Keyword Lists: Songs, Artists, Carriers, Phones, Longtail.
3. Scrubbing Keywords
   • Remove Duplicates
4. Targeted Custom Landing Pages (per ad-group if needed.)
5. Creating Ad-Groups
   • 2-10 Kw’s only if possible.
   • 2-3 Ad Copy Text for Ad-Group
   • Test Ad Copy Daily (Log in Excel)
6. Add to PPC Search Engines
   • Including Content Network in New Campaigns.
   • Add To Google Adwords
   • Add To MSN Adcenter
   • Add to Yahoo Search Marketing
   • 2nd & 3rd Tier Testing
7. Tracking & Stats
   • Track Ad Copy, Keywords, Landing Page, PPC Conversion, Aff. Offer Conversion, Server Up-Time, Tracking Up-Time.
8. Main Content Websites
   I will read up on how to get SEO traffic to my main content page. This way I can be pulling in leads without having to pay for clicks.
9. Re-Evaluate & Plan

A post will be made for each step as soon as I get a chance to write it up.

I also need to start working on 2-3 new campaigns to bring in more revenue.

Need to work on getting this to about $1,000-$5,000 day in profits.
